'Neighborhood care.' Bridge Impact Center offers support for youths

On a sunny weekday afternoon, Marcus Jackson walked through the Bridge Impact Center as if he was waiting for something.

Twenty minutes later, several young people arrived at the former church building in clusters of two or three, many of them calling out greetings to Jackson, co-founder of a nonprofit called Urban Bridge and founder of the Bridge Impact Center, one of the organization's core pillars of programming. And it quickly became clear that Jackson had been anticipating their arrival.
